Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Last updated: January 1, 2026
These Terms govern your engagement of Dolan's — Run of Show ("we", "us") for any of our services. By paying a deposit or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to these Terms together with the specific terms we communicate for your event.
1. Services
We offer three services that may be booked individually or in combination:
- Catering Order — food prepared in our Halal-certified kitchens.
- On-site Catering — on-site team execution including chefs, servers, equipment, setup, and breakdown.
- Coordination Platform — a real-time coordination service tailored to the specifics of your event.
Specifics of what is included for your event are confirmed when you engage us.
2. Quotes and acceptance
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. An engagement is considered booked once a deposit is received.
Within a reasonable time of receiving your deposit, we will send a written confirmation summarizing the agreed event details (date, headcount, menu, service scope, total). Your acceptance is evidenced by your deposit; the confirmation memorializes the engagement details. If anything is inaccurate, notify us within 7 days.
3. Payment terms
- Deposit is typically 50%, paid in advance based on the specifics of your engagement.
- Final balance timing is arranged per the engagement — typically due on the event date itself, or within 3 days after the event concludes.
- Zelle is our preferred payment method. We may arrange other methods on a case-by-case basis.
4. Cancellation and refund
- More than 30 days before event: full deposit refund, minus only the unavoidable costs already incurred (such as non-cancellable rentals or perishable ingredients already purchased).
- 10 to 30 days before event: 50% of the deposit refunded.
- Within 7 days before event: the deposit is non-refundable. At this stage we have purchased fresh ingredients, scheduled team members, and committed transport and equipment that cannot be reversed.
If we must cancel due to circumstances on our side (illness, equipment failure, etc.), we will refund all amounts paid and assist in arranging an alternative caterer where possible.
5. Changes to your event
We accommodate event changes — guest count, menu, timeline, vendor list. Any additional costs that result from a change will be communicated to you promptly and calculated transparently.
6. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events outside reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, government orders, public health emergencies (epidemic, pandemic, quarantine), war or terrorism, civil unrest, cyberattack, supply chain failure, or utility failure. In such cases we will work with you in good faith to reschedule or refund proportionally.
7. Warranties & food-safety disclaimer
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, except those warranties that cannot be disclaimed under applicable California law.
Food allergies and dietary restrictions. We take reasonable steps to identify allergens and accommodate dietary needs you communicate to us in advance. However, our kitchens prepare a wide range of dishes; we cannot guarantee zero cross-contact between allergens in shared kitchen and service environments. Guests with severe allergies or medical dietary requirements should consult our team directly before the event so we can advise on the safest path forward.
8. Liability
Our liability for any claim arising from your event is limited to the total fees paid to us for that event. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable California law.
We carry general liability insurance and food handler certifications appropriate to our operations. Certificates are available on request.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dolan's — Run of Show, its officers, employees, and contractors from third-party claims arising from: (a) misrepresentation of guest dietary needs or allergy information; (b) on-site behavior of your guests or other vendors not under our direct control; (c) your breach of these Terms.
We will indemnify and hold you harmless against third-party claims arising directly from food we prepared and served, subject to the liability cap in Section 8 and excluding any portion of the claim attributable to your acts or omissions.
10. Use of name and imagery
We may reference your event in our portfolio (without revealing host names or sensitive details) unless you ask us in writing not to. We will never publish photographs or quotes attributable to you without prior written consent.

13. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the specific event details we confirm in writing, constitute the entire agreement between you and Dolan's — Run of Show with respect to your engagement, and supersede any prior oral or written communications on the same subject matter.
